Glass Keyholder
One of my very first design projects was this glass keyholder that I made as a freshman design student. It was quite an intensive process, mainly because I had essentially no idea what I was doing. The design I chose to make was an incredibly simple spiral but due to the heat fusing process of the glass, a lot of the finer, more angular details that I cut out with all of the glass pieces just melted together. This turned the final piece into a really rough circle. Despite the final version being lackluster, the piece is still perfectly usable for holding things, which was the original goal.
