Sony Headphone Recreation

One of my favorite 3-D projects is this model recreation of some Sony headphones that I own. One of my 3-D design professors in college thought that the best way to learn how to design something was to start by recreating something. It gives you a sense of understanding about the program you are using, as well as a finished project that looks good when it’s done.

This project was made purely for the aesthetics. I didn’t model any of the internal wiring or really tiny stuff because it would’ve taken 10 times longer, and was way outside the purview of the project. I really enjoyed making this model project because it taught me a lot about the nuances of 3-D design, as well as how to make a great render for a model.
