The Wall of Sketches

Another of my projects for a student design show was setting up this wall of sketches. In our showroom, we had two large pieces of machinery that were bolted to the floor, so we couldn’t move them. This meant that we had to either cover them or incorporate them into the show. The team chose to do the former, and I had to figure out what to do with the space. I decided to make a giant collage of sketches that were all made by students in the design department. What was fun about this collage is that you could lift the edges of some of the sketches to reveal the sketches underneath, which helped to make the display more interactive for visitors.
